Field Trips!

Our first field trip this year will be to Old Sturbridge Village!

This will be an extremely fun and captivating experience for your child. They have been learning about New England in the 19th century, and to be able to see it firsthand will offer a great supplement to their learning. The Village has so many great things to offer, especially for a school field trip. Your child will be involved in many hands-on activities and role-playing. They will have the opportunity to be in a 19th century classroom, make candles, churn butter, watch potters, weavers, and other trades, listen and see many historic events, and much, much more. We have gone on this field trip in the past and I can tell you that it is a rewarding experience for everyone!

For more specific information and if you would like to be a part of the adventure, please visit my Wiki page! There you will be able to sign up as a chaperone and learn more about Old Sturbridge Village. I have provided their webpage and other useful links, please check it out!

As always, I look forward to this experience with your child and if you have any questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me!
